WilfriedPas is a Neo-expressionist sculptor and graphic artist. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts at the same time as Panamarenko. He also worked with Fred Bervoets at the lithographic studio called “Clot”. And later at the Antwerp Gallery “The Black Panter”. He started to gain appreciation when he created a series of sculptures for flemisch writers such as Karel van Woestijne, Willem Elsschot and Paul van Ostaijen. He also made a Sculpture of Hendrick Conscience, wich is now displayed in Schilde.
