Maria Laurantia Eugenia barones Rosseels was an Antwerp writer and journalist. She becomes a teacher in 1943 and starts towrite for an Antwerp newspaper “The Standard” in 1947 as an editor and filmcritic. In 1959 she travels the world with Willy Vandersteen. In 1964she critiques a short movie, “Two time two eyes” by Robbe De Hert, and calls him a protégé. In 1984 she wins the Oeuvre prize of the Flemish community, which is only rewarded once every three years.
